Doctors Find 44-Year-Old Fetus in Woman, 84

A 44-year-old fetus has been found in an 84-year-old Brazilian woman. The Daily Mail reports by way of G1 that the discovery came last Friday, when the woman's intense stomach pains landed her in a hospital in Tocantins state in central Brazil.

X-rays revealed the unthinkable: a "stone baby." As the International Business Times explains the rare phenomenon is known as lithopedion, in which the fetus grows and then dies outside of the uterus. With the body unable to rid itself of it, the dead fetus is instead covered in calcium as a means of protection, resulting in the "stone baby."

Per G1, the woman says she became pregnant more than 40 years ago but suffered pain during the pregnancy, and visited a healer for help. After taking what he had given her, "Her stomach didn't grow any more, the baby stopped moving, and she thought it had been aborted," says a gynecologist at the hospital where she was transferred.

The gynecologist says X-rays revealed "the face, the bones of the arms, of the legs, the ribs, and the spine," of the fetus, which is believed to have died at between 20 and 28 weeks. In December, a nearly identical case was announced in Colombia. That woman opted to have surgery; the Brazilian says she does not want the fetus removed.

“This is something that just is beyond coincidental,” Hagee told Fox. He explained that the prophecies in the Bible note that when the sun refuses to shine – and a solar eclipse is expected in the 2014-2015 time frame – and the moon will be turned to blood, then man’s redemption draweth near.

In the Old Testament, the prophet Joel states, “The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come.” (Joel 2:31)

In the New Testament, Jesus is quoted as saying: “Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light. … And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.” (Matthew 24:29-30)

Acts 2 states: “And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood and fire and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness and the moon into blood before the great and terrible day of the Lord comes.”

Pastor Mark Biltz talked with WND about the issue, elaborating on the information provided in Hagee’s book.

“Not only are there four blood moons on 4/15/14, 10/8/14, 4/4/15, and 9/28/15, but the added significance is that the total solar eclipse on 3/20/15 is on the biblical calendar of Nisan 1. Nisan 1 begins the religious New Year according to the scriptures,” Biltz explained. “This date was the grand opening of Moses tabernacle in the wilderness. This is the day a great sign came and fire fell to light the burnt offering.

“So here we have a total solar eclipse beginning the religious year followed two weeks later by a total lunar eclipse/blood moon on Passover followed by the next solar eclipse (partial) on Sept 13th which just so happens to be Rosh Hashanah!” Biltz continued.

The pastor of El-Shaddai Ministries went into great detail about the significant events that have occurred on these dates in history and scripture.

“According to Judaism this is the day Adam was created and crowned God as King. This is also begins a shemittah year 7th for the land to rest. The last two shemittah years on Rosh Hashanah, there was global economic catastrophe. In 2001, the Dow fell 7 percent. In 2008, the Dow fell 7 percent. In 2015, could this be our third strike and a major collapse of the global economy?” Biltz pondered.

“The eclipse of the sun signals danger to the nations and of the moon danger to Israel, this is then followed by the total lunar eclipse/blood moon on the Feast of Tabernacles. Not only that, according to NASA, this total blood moon on 9/28/15 will be at perigee meaning it will be a super moon and seen in Jerusalem during the feast of sukkot while the Jewish people will be dwelling outside in their sukkahs looking up toward the heavens.”

“The odds of this string of events are truly astronomical!” he concluded.

The story actually began in 2008 when Biltz made an astounding discovery – a story broken first by WND.

Biltz had been studying prophecies that focus on the sun and moon, even going back to the book of Genesis where it states the lights in the sky would be “be for signs, and for seasons.”

“It means a signal, kind of like ‘one if by land, two if by sea.’ It’s like God wants to signal us,” he said. “The Hebrew word implies … not only is it a signal, but it’s a signal for coming or His appearing.”

Biltz noted the 6,000 years, about, since the creation of Adam.

“So we are at of the end of the six days ready to enter the seventh day, or the beginning of the 1,000 year millennium rest spoken of in Hebrews and Revelation.”

Daniel Padilla's big role in Kathryn Bernardo's debut

Daniel Padilla shared that he is Kathryn Bernardo's escort in her debut next month, even as he admits his busy schedule has kept him from preparing her birthday gift.

“Ngayon hindi pa ako makapagisip dahil ang busy namin ni Kathryn. Pero after ng show, paghahandaan ko iyon," Daniel said at the thanksgiving press conference of "Got to Believe" on Tuesday, February 25.

What gift does Kathryn want him to give her on her birthday (March 26)?

"Wala naman. Sabi nga niya, kahit huwag na. (Laughs). Basta after (the show), pag-iisipan ko iyon," Daniel replied.

No pressure

Despite speculations that they are already a couple, Daniel claims he and Kathryn are still in the "MU" stage. He doesn't want to pressure Kathryn to be his girlfriend and wants her to  enjoy and explore other things as a single teenager.

"Huwag na muna sagot-sagot. Para hindi muna siya mapressure. Basta mag-enjoy lang siya, explore pa niya yung sarili niya. Explore pa niya yung mga gusto niyang gawin kasi kapag nagka-boyfriend ka na, marami ka ng pwedeng pagbawalan. So, enjoy ka lang, relax ka lang."

Daniel and Kathryn will not kiss in  the finale episode of "Got to Believe"  on March 7.  But Katrhyn is his first choice if ever he has his first onscreen kiss for other projects.

"Sa haba ng pinagsamahan namin, kung sa iba lang mapupunta, bad trip naman iyon," he said in jest.

While he knows many teenagers look up to him, Daniel doesn't pressure himself into putting his best foot forward all the time.

‘Happy lang’

"Mas gusto ko maging happy na lang." 

Daniel is grateful to fans for accepting the real him.

"Ako naman minahal nila ako kung ano yung dati pang ako. Hindi ako natatakot kung anong sasabihin nila dahil alam mo rin naman sa sarili mo kung mali yung ginagawa mo masyado di ba?" 

He added that he’s actually a nice guy, but his playful nature is sometimes misunderstood.

"Hindi naman ako masamang tao. Makulit lang talaga ako. Pero nagustuhan nila ako kung ano ako dati. So, swerte talaga ako sa kanila." 

Daniel Padilla says Kathryn Bernardo's first onscreen kiss should be with him

Although she’s turning 18 next month, Kathryn Bernardo maintained that she’s not yet ready to do a kissing scene with Daniel Padilla for the much-awaited finale of teleserye Got To Believe.

While it is true that it’s dubbed as “the best ending ever,” Kathryn stressed that there are other twists in the love story of their characters that viewers should look forward to.

“Feeling ko it’s too early para sa akin. Kasi parang kapag nasimulan mo na yun, feeling ko, parang kailangan sa lahat ng shows mo ganun ka na.

“Hindi ka na puwedeng tumanggi o magsabi ng ayoko. Nagawa mo na, e. So for me talaga, hindi pa.

“Puwede namang hug lang muna, kiss sa cheek, ‘yan pwede. Pero ‘pag sa lips, [the right] time will come for that,” said the young actress during the presscon of Got To Believe earlier today, February 25.

For his part, Daniel said that he’s “steadily” waiting for the right time to take that next step in their acting career.

The teen actor made it clear though that Kathryn’s first onscreen kiss should be with him.

“Siguro naman opo dapat si Kathryn [din ang first onscreen kiss ko]. Sa haba ng pinagsamahan namin. E, kung mapupunta naman sa iba yun, bad trip naman yun,” Daniel stated, much to everyone’s laughter.

DIREK CATHY'S TOUGH LOVE. After almost 7 months of taping Got To Believe, Kathryn can’t hardly believe that the ABs-CBN soap opera will air its final episode on March 7.

Aside from the new friends that she gained among her other co-stars, she shared that she’s also grateful to director Cathy Garcia-Molina for challenging her to improve her craft.

“Kay Direk Cathy matututo ka kung paano bumilis yung pick-up mo, kung paano maging natural.

“Feeling ko yun ang pinagkaiba niya sa ibang director. Hindi siya teleserye acting or TV acting.

“Kaya yung napapanood mo mas natural. Feeling ko na-apply ko yun and forever ko yun dadalhin.  Pati na rin yung mga bilin niya and kung paano ang magandang working relationship.”

Daniel, on the other hand, revealed that he initially felt intimated by the way Direk Cathy motivates him on the set.

“Medyo napiga ako ni Direk Cathy dito sa show. Kay Direk Cathy, the more na mas relaxed siya magsalita, mas nakukuha ko yung eksena.

“Kasi ‘pag nate-tense na ako sa kanya, nagpa-panic na ako, hindi ko alam ang gagawin ko.

“Ngayon, medyo hihinga muna ako tapos papatawanin ko siya. Kapag napatawa ko na, masasabi na niya ng mas maayos yung dapat kong gawin.”

PROUD OF DANIEL AND KATHRYN. Direk Cathy, for her part, admitted that her typical "tough love" approach doesn’t really work with the two Got To Believe lead stars.

“Honestly, nagsungit ako in the beginning. I had to know kung hanggang saan sila. Kasi, di ba, masungit naman talaga akong director? Hindi ko naman itinatanggi ‘yan.

“And sa lahat na ginawa kong pahirap sa kanila, ang tanging alam ko na hindi magwo-work sa kanila kapag pinapahiya ko sila. Nakikita kong tumiklop.

“Sabi ko nga sa kanila, ‘Kayo lang ang nakatrabaho ko na ganito ako,’ [na pumepreno ako sa pagsusungit.]”

Nevertheless, Direk Cathy observed that Daniel’s acting skills improved a lot in the past few months.

“Si DJ nagulat ako, meron palang dramatic sense. According to most people I’ve talked to, ‘Direk, ngayon lang namin nakita ‘yan [dramatic side ni Daniel]. Pinag-e-MMK [Maalaala Mo Kaya] na nga po namin.’”

As for Kathryn, Direk Cathy acknowledged the fact that the young actress is known for her flair for acting.

“Ang hinugot ko na lang sa kanya yung depth, yung klase ng iyak na iba-iba. Nakita ko kung gaano siya ka-willing to learn.

“For someone who has been in showbiz for so long, natutuwa ako kung paano nila tinatanggap [yung pag-mentor ko].”

After Got To Believe, Kathryn and Daniel are slated to work with Direk Cathy again for the Star Cinema movie adaptation of the book She's Dating the Gangster.

Sakit sa balat ng babae sa Pangasinan, 'di ketong, ayon sa dermatologist

Inihayag ng isang dermatologist na sumuri sa sakit sa balat ng isang babae sa Pangasinan na hindi ketong ang problema ng pasyente, taliwas sa naging pahayag ng isang opisyal ng Provincial Health Office.

“Hindi totoo 'yon... may ginawa ba silang test para malaman nilang leprosy? Kasi ako dalawang test ang ginawa ko diyan,” paliwanag ni dermatologist Dr. Grace Beltran sa panayam ng GMA's “Balita Pilipinas” nitong Martes.

Una rito, kumalat sa social media na isang misteryosong flesh-eating disease ang tumama sa isang babae at isang lalaki sa Pangasinan.

Sa pulong balitaan nitong Martes, pinabulaanan ni provincial health officer Dr. Maria Anna Theresa de Guzman, ang naturang kumalat sa social media.

Sa hiwalay na ulat sa GMA News TV's "News TV Live",  sinabi de Guzman na leprosy o ketong ang naging problema ng babae, habang mayroong naman psoriasis at psoriatic arthritis ang lalaki.

Nagkaroon daw ng side effect ang pag-inom ng babae sa gamot kaya bumalik ang ketong nito.

Ngunit paliwanag ni Beltran, batay sa isinagawa niyang biopsy test sa babae, lumitaw na mayroong itong auto-immune disease na kung tawagin ay pyoderma gangrenosum.

“It is not a nakakatakot na sakit in the sense na nakakahawa or dapat magpanic ang mga tao... 'Yan ay isang rare skin problem na bihirang-bihira nating makita at medyo mahirap gamutin pero nagagamot naman,” ayon kay Beltran.

Idinagdag ni Beltran na hindi reaksiyon sa gamot ang dahilan ng pagkakasakit nito sa balat.

“Akala nila in reaction. Kasi there's such a thing na leprosy in reaction. So pinatuloy pa rin [nila yung treatment kaya] lalo siyang grumabe [grabe] hanggat 'di na siya makatayo, hindi na siya makabangon,” aniya.

Ayon kay Beltran, walong buwan niyang ginamot ang babae at bumuti naman daw ang kalagayan nito dahil nakalakad.

“Merong treatment pero kailangan din nating hanapin yung trigger kasi kung minsan nga may internal problems na related doon sa sakit sa balat. Kung magagamot natin yung internal problem baka masolve natin yung problem niya sa balat,” paliwanag ni Beltran.

Vice Ganda and Karylle kiss and make up

A week after their reported rift, “It’s Showtime” hosts Vice Ganda and Karylle have  reconciled during the show's "Sine Mo 'To" segment on Tuesday, February 25.

"Nakakamiss ka pala," Vice Ganda told Karylle, while hugging her.

Their co-hosts, particularly Anne Curtis and Billy Crawford,  cheered for them while the song "That's What Friends Are For" played in the background.

"Aalis na ako noh. Ayaw ko naman umalis ng ganito pa ito. Mahal ko ito," Vice Ganda said. He also gave Karylle a bouquet of flowers.

Vice Ganda wanted to settle their differences before he leaves for the US for his concert on February 28.

In an interview last week, Vice Ganda admitted that he had a misunderstanding with Karylle after she failed to attend his thanksgiving party. He also felt hurt when he learned that Karylle's fiance Yael Yuzon was allegedly against the 'ViceRylle'  (Vice Ganda-Karylle) tandem. Karylle denied the allegation.

Kaya naman nang matanong si Daniel kung ano ang ibig sabihin noon, lalo pa at inamin nila kamakailan lang sa interview nila sa Buzz ng Bayan na exclusively dating na silang dalawa, ang tila pag-iwas ni Daniel sa pagkumpirma nito na para bang mas nagpapahiwatig ng kanilang mas malalim na pagsasamahan, “Wala, sinadaya lang namin ni Direk yun, walang ibig sabihin yun.”
